Happiness |
|
Happiness is something we all want, but one of the great tragedies in this world is that so many people never find it, because they look for it in the wrong places. The key to it is very simple – true happiness is to be found in God. We need to have the courage to place our deepest hopes in God alone, not in money, in a career, in worldly success, or in our relationships with others, but in God. Only he can satisfy the deepest needs of our hearts.

More than any of the cargo we might carry with us – in terms of our human accomplishments, our possessions, our technology – it is our relationship with the Lord that provides the key to our happiness and our human fulfillment. And he calls us to a relationship of love.

Happiness |
|
How easy it is to be content with the superficial pleasures that daily life offer us; how easily it is to live only for oneself, apparently enjoying life!
But sooner or later we realize that this is not true happiness, because true happiness is much deeper; we find it only in Jesus.
